Yes, we are! His name is Akon (not sure what that's about), but we may change that once we meet him. He's a doxie-mix rescue and he's currently being fostered outside of Harrisburg. We get to pick him up and meet for the first time on Saturday the 29th. It has been quite a while since either one of us had a puppy, so we're a little nervous. I wish I could point you to his listing so you could see his picture, but it's already been taken down since we adopted him. He's black and tan and wee and oh so sweet looking. He's only nine weeks old!
I'm taking a vacation day today and I had grand plans to do lots of housework, but I haven't done anything more than meet Dan for lunch and shop for shoes. I didn't find any, but I did find a nice totebag that will hold my WIP, a book and the regular purse stuff.
I'm going to go and pretend that I'll get something done today. Perhaps I'll knit another dishcloth (my latest obsession.)
